Chris's unique writing style comes from a variety
of sources. It is a result of over ten years playing experience in a diverse
collection of bands ranging from alternative punk to 50s rock'n'roll,
traditional Australian bush bands, 60s psychodelia, 70s west coast folk
rock, Art rock and Aussie pub rock.
He spent a year singing with a Barber Shop choir and has indulged in many
experimental techno and electronica projects. His familiarity with such
a range of styles gives him a unique creative freedom, and he believes
that good music comes from the depths of the soul rather than fidelity
to a particular style.
This approach to music - making style subordinate to substance - is seen
in his debut album 'A Day In The Sun'.
